Horizon No Longer Sticks at “Connected” After Unplug

Unplugging a Horizon Hardware Unit while its status wasn’t actively being watched — the GCS computer asleep, or the Horizon UI page closed — could leave Beam reporting the unit as connected indefinitely. Refreshing didn’t help, and a newly connected unit was ignored until Beam was restarted.

Beam now tracks the unit’s connection state directly from the USB driver, independent of whether a Horizon UI page is open, so a disconnect is always detected.
