Enable or disable which mesh radio channels are available to Node operators in your Workspace — the change updates operators’ channel options immediately, in both ATAK and iOS.

Control Available Channels

Workspace Admins manage radio channel availability from the Workspace management view in Workspace Settings, on the Somewear web portal. Enabling or disabling a channel there immediately updates the list of channel options operators see in Node Hardware Settings.

What Operators See When a Channel Is Disabled

Operators still select their radio channel from Hardware Settings → Radio Channel, unchanged. But if you disable the channel an operator currently has selected, that operator’s Hardware Settings shows Unknown Channel in place of the channel name. Once the operator changes away from Unknown Channel to a supported channel, they cannot switch back to the disabled one.

Caution

Disabling a channel your team is actively using leaves them on Unknown Channel until they pick a new one — and that switch cannot be undone. Confirm which channel your team is on before disabling it.
