Create a Workspace from the Somewear web application: open Account, add the Workspace, then set its name, default settings, and — if your team requires it — mesh key rotation.

Note

Creating a Workspace requires Organization Admin permissions.

Create a Workspace

1. Click the Account tab in the top-right of the web application.
2. Click + Add Workspace.
3. Enter the Workspace name and color. To enable encrypted mesh key rotation for the Workspace, turn on Enable Workspace Mesh Key Rotation.
4. Set the Workspace default settings. These apply automatically to each Member’s device when they join the Workspace. See Organization & Workspace Default Settings.
5. Click Submit, then Confirm Workspace Default Settings.

The new Workspace appears in your Workspaces list. Invite Members with a QR code — see Generate a QR Code.

Caution

Enabling mesh key rotation is permanent — it cannot be disabled after activation. It also requires every Member on ATAK plugin v1.1.19 (or iOS v3.5.0) and Node firmware v3.27.30 or later. See Mesh Key Rotation.
