High-bandwidth filesharing

While connected to a high-bandwidth network, operators can now share files with one another on ATAK and Web. Compatible with TAK federations.

Control invites

Admins can now restrict whether non-Admins have permission to invite new Members to a Workspace.

Disable firmware prompts

Admins can now disable automatic firmware-update prompts in their Workspace.

TAK bridging [[Beta]]

For teams who want a common operating picture between the Somewear mesh and a tactical LAN, one operator can now act as a bridge between the two networks. Contact the Somewear team to request access.

Additional Fixes & Improvements

We also addressed a variety of smaller bugs and usability issues, including:

• SOS conversation messages now appear reliably: sometimes messages were failing to show in the conversation thread until plugin refresh.
• Backhaul now reflects the right intent: the setting now correctly indicates whether you’re willing to act as a backhaul for others, not whether to backhaul your messages.
• Network Control device list now reflects live mesh presence: device entries update more accurately across various edge cases.
• Prior Workspace settings now apply immediately on switch: Hardware settings for the Workspace you switch to take effect right away, instead of waiting for the device to reconnect.
• Local message deletion: now supported for your own messages. Note: deleting a message removes it from your device only, never from other participants’ devices.
• Links available for Workspace invitations: when QR code scanning isn’t available, you can “Share Link” from “Invite a Member”.
